Description
Montana’s 163rd Infantry Regiment was part of the 41st Infantry Division, along with National Guard Regiments from Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The Division gained its nickname, “The Jungleers,” because of its impressive performance in the jungles of New Guinea and the Philippines.
