Bob Morgan’s Montana

In Bob Morgan’s Montana: My Life and Art, western artist Robert F. “Bob” Morgan describes growing up in the Helena Valley. A master storyteller, Morgan describes firefighting in the Kootenai Forest and painting a mural depicting Cromwell Dixon’s historic flight over the Continental Divide. In vivid detail, he describes his lifelong inolvement with the Montana Historical Society, from painting dioramas to protecting gold nuggets on the Centennial Train to serving on the museum board.

The book is beautifully illustrated with color reproductions of Morgan’s artwork and photographs depicting his life.
